ALBUQUERQUE TEA PARTY 4/15/10

I decided to attend one of these imfamous Tea Party Rallies, and see if they really were a bunch of violent racists. Guess what? They weren't. There were close to 9000, not counting those in cars who gave us thumbs up, waved flags, cheered, etc. I did see several fellows take a man's sign, beat him with it, and then hop in a van to drive away. Apparently, three old ladies got egged, too. There were also several protesters with fake signs (horribly misspelled) and running out in the street to try to get us shut down. I guess these folks opposed free speech as well. There was a woman who tried to imply that I didn't know history. She tried to get me to stumble on the history of the US and the Gadsden flag. After the fourth correct (and very detailed) answer, she started to walk away.

Don't spread my wealth, spread my work ethic      Stop organized crime, abolish the IRS      That's my family      The crowd

A racist sign (not a teapartier)      One of our signs      My family again      No change for you, bum
