SimCity 2000, the sequel to SimCity, is one of the best games ever made. I have spent many hours playing this game, and no matter what, you can always come back to it. It has the best replay value of any game I have seen. If you become bored with it though, you can always screw around with some of the files. MAKE SURE TO MAKE BACKUP COPIES!!!! You can alter midi files and even some of the graphics. To do this, copy the original file you wish to copy someplace outside of the SimCity 2000 directory and edit as desired. For a graphic change, use Paint Shop Pro, and save over the original in the SimCity 2000 directory. For a midi change, delete the one in the SimCity 2000 directory, and change yours to whatever the first one was named.
