Hello all! As I said earlier, I am a Seventh Day Adventist, which means I believe Jesus died to save everyone, rose again, and will come again soon. The New Life Community Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waldorf, MD, (one of many churches I have visited), wrote in the back of their bulletin:
WHAT SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS BELIEVE
We believe that Jesus lived and died in our place, and that through faith in Him we will have eternal life according to His Promise.
We believe that God is calling to Himself, and to service, a people dedicated to be all that they can be through a faith experience with Him -- a people willing to give themselves without reserve to Him and to his revealed will -- a people willing to trust Him completely and to obey Him completely.
We believe that Jesus is coming back very soon to take to Heaven those who are His; and we consider preparation of our hearts and the proclamation of His imminent return to our world to be the highest priority of our lives.
We believe that the Bible is inspired by Word of God and that it clearly teaches about life and death, Heaven and Hell, how Christ will come and what Christians will face just prior to His coming. Christian standards of living, the meaning and importance of baptism, the relationship of grace to law and faith to works, the Christian Sabbath and the importance it will play in these last days, and other teachings especially relevant to Christians living today.
