NEW MEXICO, 2005: MAY 29 SQUALL LINE

We came out of Carl Jr.'s to these large mammatus puffs.

Before long, the somewhat discrete cell we saw outside of Los Lunas became part of a nasty squall line.

Pretty soon, it started to rain. The rain you see is a LONG ways in the distance, but between us and where we need to go. We did not have to stop, however, as the storm passed before we got there.

Another tower builds in the distance. Already had storms, first day in NM.
